The First Attempt to Impeach Donald Trump Just Got Underway

(WASHINGTON) — A California Democrat filed an article of impeachment against President Donald Trump Wednesday in a longshot bid to remove the president from office.
Rep. Brad Sherman accuses Trump of obstructing investigations into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election, in part by firing former FBI Director James Comey.
Sherman acknowledges that filing the article is "the first step on a very long road."
"But if the impulsive incompetency continues, then eventually — many, many months from now — Republicans will join the impeachment effort," Sherman said in a statement.
White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Sherman's resolution was "utterly and completely ridiculous" and "a political game at its worst."
Sherman's effort has little chance of success in the Republican-led House. Sherman doesn't even have the backing of many fellow Democrats.
Democratic leaders have distanced themselves from the efforts to impeach Trump, believing it serves only to energize the president's supporters. Sherman's resolution has one co-sponsor, fellow Democrat Al Green of Texas.
Sherman filed the article a day after the president's son, Donald Trump Jr., acknowledged that he met with a Russian lawyer during the campaign. An intermediary for the lawyer promised damaging information from the Russian government about Democrat Hillary Clinton.
Trump Jr. said he received no information about Clinton at the meeting.
The president has questioned his own intelligence agencies and whether the Russians actually interfered in the election. However, federal authorities say they have definitive evidence that the Kremlin meddled in the U.S. presidential election.

Keanna Reeves Reveals a Hacker Has Leaked Her Nude Photos Online!

Actress Keanna Reeves recently revealed to the media that her Facebook account was hacked and the hacker leaked nude photos of her online. Keanna says that she was deeply distressed by the hacking, which has caused a few rifts between the actress and her family.

Keanna narrates that the leaked scandalous personal photos have caused her family members to look at her in a negative light. She narrated:

“Nahihiya ako para sa sarili ko at para sa mga anak ko para sawayin nila ako nang gano’n.”

She has since taken action to rectify the damage done to her personal life by the cyber attack. Keanna Reeves sought the aid of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) who subsequently referred her to their Cybercrime Division. The NBI’s Cybercrime Division was created to deal with cases similar to the one that Keanna Reeves has.

Keanna narrated how she was locked out of her Facebook account. The hacker even posed as Keanna, who used the actress’ account to talk to her friends and propositioned them with s*xual favors. Keanna was devastated by the damage this incident has incurred on her reputation.

She warns everyone to be careful with their online activities.

Benjamin Diokno: “National ID Will Hasten Social Services, Prioritize Senior Citizens.”

Good news for those looking to acquire the newly-approved National ID, the Duterte Administrationis planning to implement the system during President Rodrigo Duterte’s term.

On July 5, one of the President’s economic managers said this move was meant to ease the deliveryof social services.

According to a report by ABS-CBN, Budget Secretary Benjamin Diokno said that the national ID will replace all government-issued IDs, with the exception of a citizen’s drivers’ license and passport.

The free national identification cards will contain a Filipino citizen’s biometric data and anyone over the age of 18 is obligated to obtain one. It will be issued at birth and will be renewable once a citizen turns 18.

The national ID will be issued to all 105 million Filipinos “within two years of the enactment of the proposal,” Diokno said. Currently, an executive order is being drafted for the new ID system. Diokno said during a tax forum:

Reports claimed that Pacquiao got robbed in this match, and the 38-year-old champ thinks so too. Pacquiao believes he was set up to lose in this bout no matter what the results say.

“Now that Manny Pacquiao has had some time process his upset defeat to Australian underdog Jeff Horn, the Filipino legend feels he was wronged Sunday in Brisbane, Australia,” BoxingScene.com said.

“The 38-year-old Pacquiao was a 6-1 favorite over the previously unknown Horn in their WBO welterweight title bout, but Horn won a unanimous decision that was widely considered controversial,” the site added.

President Rodrigo Duterte Receives a High Satisfaction Rating in His Latest Leadership Survey!

President Rodrigo Duterte is typically presented as the people’s choice. His high favorability ratings can attest to that. Despite countless controversies involving him and his violent rhetoric, many people still seemingly adore the man.

According to a report by GMA News Online, Rodrigo Duterte has once again proven that he is well-liked by the majority of the Filipino people. In the latest survey conducted by the Social Weather Station (SWS) between the dates of June 23 and June 26, 2017, the president earned a high percentage result in the satisfaction ratings.

This was confirmed by Presidential spokesperson Ernesto Abella, who said in an interview:

“The survey result three percent higher from March 2017’s 75 percent is a clear indication of the growing confidence in the Chief Executive and his performance as the country’s leader. It shows tacit public support to the President’s action following the rebellion in Marawi.”

The survey was conducted a month after Rodrigo Duterte declared Martial Law in Mindanao. However, Abella declined to announce that in Mindanao itself, Duterte’s net satisfaction has decreased by 12 points. This did not affect his overall performance rating since his satisfaction survey still indicated he was “excellent.”

Abella also noted that the public’s positive outlook on Duterte’s leadership will further motivate the current regime to bring the the city of Marawi back to its former state.

She narrated that she was on her way home, waiting for a tricycle along Lilac Bridge, when she heard something. She saw that the sound came from kids, around 7-10 years old, who catcalled students from Mayamot.

These little children most probably learned this appalling behavior from their elders. What men often do to women was now being done by these young boys. They were shouting to the students: “kama kita ate” and “ate akin ka na lang.”

Bank of the Philippine Islands, the country’s third-largest bank, triggered irate customers after reports of accounts losing up to tens of thousands of pesos in their accounts on Wednesday, June 7.

Just this morning, some employees from an international BPO company situated in Ortigas claimed that they lost a huge amount of money from their payroll accounts.

The Ayala-led banking company claimed that there was an “internal data processing error” and it was “currently correcting the mispostings.” BPI President Cezar Consing then apologized for the malfunction and said that transactions from April 27 to May 2 were credited two times.

“This is not a hack, this is an internal issue. Over the next few hours, we are making sure the double credits, debits are corrected,” Consing told ANC’s Market Edge with Cathy Yang.

Abandoned Dog Was Found With a Note at an Airport – Why He Was Left Behind Will Surely Break Your Heart!

It’s such sad sight when you find an abandoned dog left behind by it’s master. Many of these stray animals try to survive in the streets, eating garbage and often struggling with a disease or injury.

In the United States, it’s a felony to leave your pets behind. They take the charge ‘cruelty to animals’ very seriously. In Las Vegas, Nevada, a person charged with cruelty to animals could be fined up to $1000 and up to 6 months in jail.Chewy, a 3-month-old Chihuahua, was found injured and all by himself inside a Las Vegas airport restroom. Many people were outraged that someone would abandon a sweet puppy like Chewy. Along with the poor dog, a hand written letter was discovered which explained the situation.

Authorities who read the letter realized that it wasn’t an act of cruelty which forced this dog to stay behind, but something much more heartbreaking.

The dog’s former owner described how she and the dog had both escaped an abusive relationship. The owner truly loved Chewy and wanted to keep him – but tragically they were forced apart because the plane wouldn’t allow pets on-board.

“Hi! I’m Chewy! My owner was in an abusive relationship and couldn’t afford me to get on the flight. She didn’t want to leave me with all her heart but she has NO other option. My ex-boyfriend kicked my dog when we were fighting and he has a big knot on his head. He probably needs a vet. I love Chewy sooo much — please love and take care of him.”

Such a heart-breaking story! We hope this abandoned dog finds a new home with a master who’ll love him like his previous owner did!
